Inclining Experiments, Intact and Damage Stability Books

Inclining Experiments are performed on an almost everyday basis, as the starting point for calculating and documenting the stability compliance of all commercial vessels.

These range from steel, wood and GRP fishing vessels, small commercial workboard, tugs and oilot boats, salvage tugs and offshore supply vessels, research ships, diamond mining ships, oil drill ships and oil rigs.

Yachts and Ferries requiring to take paying passengers also require both Intact and Damage Stability Documentation and compliance.

Typically stability books are submitted to either the local flag state authorities, MCA, and all of the principle CLassifcation Societies.

Without a specific count, we estimate that well over 1000 Stability Books have been produced by this office.

These include Damage Stability and Longitudinal Strength Calculations, were they are required.

Ship Stability software includes the world reknown GHS™ from Creative Systems USA, and our inhouse Stability Program, featured in these screen plots.

OFFSHORE OIL AND DIAMONDS

Triton has been contracted over the years, to perform virtually all of the stability calculations and documentation on all of the Debeers Marine Diamond Mining Vessles, and have installed the Triton Onboard Stability Program on all of the Debeers Vessels.

Furthermore Triton have conducted Inclining Experiments and/or peformed stability calculation and documentation on numerous Oil Rigs and Drill Ships, including but not limited to:
