Kenmare WCP-B Plant Relocation to Pilivili
In 2020, Kenmare Resources successfully relocated its Wet Concentrator Plant B (WCP-B) from the Namalope ore zone to the Pilivili ore zone in Mozambique—a complex engineering feat involving the movement of a 7,000-ton plant over 23 km.
Triton was engaged to support key structural and transport-related design tasks, assisting with engineering verification and heavy-haul interface coordination to ensure safe relocation of the plant. Our team provided technical input on transport saddles, ground interface supports, and operational planning throughout the relocation phase.
