Initial Design of the WCP-B Plant

The 21 pontoons. along with all of these additional support structures were fabricated by SA Shipyards in Durban, to be transported on barges to Moma, where they are being assembled, along with the actual plant above.

Relocation of the Plant to Perifi

Kenmare’s 7,000-ton WCP-B was relocated 23 km from Namalope to Pilivili in one of the largest moves of its kind. Triton supported critical structural and transport engineering throughout the operation.

Repairs and Strengthening to the WCP-B dredger

WCP_B dredger called DEIDRE, originally designed and built in the USA and assembled on site. Triton has been involved on numerous projects to deal with cracking and freeboard issues.
